Conway Twitty, Keith Whitley, George Strait, Mere Haggard and a fellow named Woody Lynch (my Dad)
What do you want fans to take from your music?
That my music speaks to them as if I wrote the songs about their lives, simply 3 chords and the truth
How’s the music scene in your locale?
Not as vibrate as it had been in the 90s and before when I performed 6 nights a week for 20 years. But the audiences yearning for real traditional country music and there and growing
What is the best concert you have been to? What do you like most about playing live?
I got to see George Jones and Merge Haggard together at our state fair and it was amazing to see these 2 legends together I love the reaction of the audience to my music and performance
Is there a song on your latest CD release here that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?
Back in 1953 is such an emotional song for me, a true story and tribute to the musical ability my Dad passed on to me
How have you evolved as an artist over the last year?
I have worked hard and focused and writing more music and I believe have reached and touched a large variety of traditional country styles
If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be?
It would currently have to be George Strait, we have a lot in common in our western country lifestyles as well as our music
What’s next for you?
I am writing more songs with intentions to release my 5th Nashville studio album in the next year
