Drum Dynasty releases World Cathedral

(SEATTLE, WA) – Bruce Burgess is back in the studio with Film Composer Ben Kopec, Classical Pianist Christopher Milo and Executive Producer Cyrus Rhodes for Drum Dynasty’s much anticipated follow up release entitled World Cathedral. In a recent interview, Burgess described World Cathedral is a radical shift away from the debut Drum Dynasty’s CD released in 2009, which showcased primarily African and Middle Eastern music. World Cathedral is much Orchestral and Classical in nature.

This stunning 20 track collection showcases bold orchestral movements meshed with a dynamic classical drumming approach. According to Executive Producer Cyrus Rhodes, “World Cathedral” is extremely suspenseful, full of soaring movements, blooming hooks, peaks and valleys, and of course world class drumming.” According to Bruce: “Working with Ben, Christopher and Cyrus has proven to be a very ethereal experience for me both as a drummer, and a composer.” Premier composer Ben Kopec has written musical scores for the likes of SONY, FOX Sports, A&E & MTV.

GEAR USED For World Cathedral Burgess used Roland, Simmons, Tama and Mapex drums. Zyljian, Wuhan, Paiste, Sabian and Meinl cymbals. Percussion: Steel Tongue Drum, Doumbek, Tabla, Udu, Timbale, Xylophone, Marimba, Glockenspiel and Congas.
